Sequencer

ATMOSYNTH built-in module

A loop of notes, played over and over for as long as there is sound. Its length is a whole number of bars and its grid is one note value, from a bar down to a 128th and in triplets of each, so what a step is worth follows the tempo rather than fixing a speed of its own — a pattern written at one tempo is the same pattern at another. A note sits on a step and sounds for exactly that step: the grid is the length, so there is nothing to drag out and nothing to trim. Every note is played at the same strength, because a pattern here says what is played and not how hard. The pattern belongs to this use of the module rather than to the module, the way a sample slot fill does — so two sequencers in one patch play two different things, and writing either never touches what anybody else published. Wire its notes into whatever should play them, and the patch plays itself.

No published patch uses this module yet

When somebody publishes a patch built on it, that patch will be listed here.
