Keyboard

ATMOSYNTH built-in module

Whoever is playing, as notes to wire wherever they should go. Every way of playing arrives here at once and as one thing — the keys on the screen, the computer keyboard, and every MIDI device attached, on every channel — so two hands on two devices are one performance and nothing has to be chosen between them. What a patch does with the notes is the wiring's business: connect this to an oscillator and the oscillator is played, connect it to several and they are all played together. Nothing about *how* a keyboard is played is here — the octave it is showing, the arpeggiator, the glide, the unison and the fixed velocity are the player's own settings, and stay that way, so a patch never arrives having decided how somebody else's hands work.
