Pitch assignment
ATMOSYNTH built-in module
Passes on every note wired into its input at one note of its own, whichever note arrived: a pad struck at C3 in front of a kick plays the kick at D0, which is the pitch it was made to sound at. It is the note that changes and nothing else — each note still starts and stops when it did, at the strength it was played with. The note belongs to this use of the module rather than to the module, so every one in a patch has its own. A note keeps where it came from on the way through — the keyboard that played it, or the sequencer whose loop it is. Switched off, or with no note chosen, it passes every note on at its own pitch.
